We never had bad intentions. We found this incredible location in the hotel with amazing pool, and I one side there was the Buddha. The one that is in the picture. I am excited about learning about other cultures, so I take photos of everything. Everyone in this place was amazed by that statue. That’s why we took those photos. In the moment, we did n ot think it was something wrong. But I am really sorry, I offer an apologize to anyone that felt insulted. We did not make it with bad intention. I know that I am a international queen. I know it creates many interpretations. But, please interpret it in the positive way because it was that way. I am so excited. I love every new culture. I love every new experience. I love everything that makes me grow in life, actually as I already said. I do not belong to a specific religion. Everything that’s positive, love, peace, I receive it. Personally, I already talked with my international organization. There are occasions were an explanation is not required, but mental peace I asked my international organization make an official release, and official clarification. Because we have to stay clear, and my intentions were not bad at all. Actually, you can see in the picture that I was enjoying a lot, because I love learning about them. I think that religion is something that bring us joy as human being. Even if you do not belong to any religion. They try to spread positive message, and that is something that fills me. It is something that I love. I love learning about all of them so I do not feel that I just belong to one religion. So, it was not with bad intention. I feel like part of every religion. I have been in Catholicism, Christianity, and Buddhism. I have been into every church that invited me because I am a person of faith. And, I am a personal of love. If it was something offensive it really was not my intension. People who knows me already know that, and if you do not please take the time to know me because I still have a lot to offer, and I will demonstrate it. So, please help my clarity this.

ได้เกิดกระแสวิพากษ์วิจารณ์จากชาวพุทธในวงกว้างถึงความไม่เหมาะสม ของ Miss Grand Mexico 2020, Angela Yuriar ได้ถ่ายภาพชุดว่ายน้ำคู่กับ “พระพุทธรูป” บริเวณริมสระว่ายน้ำในประเทศเม็กซิโก ด้วยพลังของชาวพุทธล่าสุด Angela ก็ได้ออกมาขอโทษ ชาวไทยและชาวพุทธอย่างเป็นทางการผ่าน IG โดยเธอกล่าวโดยย่อว่า
“ฉันไม่ได้มีเจตนาที่ไม่ดี สิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นทำให้ฉันได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมใหม่ๆ” “หากฉันทำอะไรผิดไป ขอให้ทุกคนแนะนำในสิ่งที่เหมาะสมและดีที่สุดกับฉัน”
หากชาวพุทธเรามองภาพนี้เป็นสิ่งปล่อยวาง ภาพและสืออันไม่เหมาะสมที่มีการนำพระพุทธสัญลักษณ์มาใช้นั้นจะมีมากขึ้นและมีการเลียนแบบในทางที่ผิดและยากที่จะแก้ไขได้ แต่ด้วยเสียงของชาวพุทธแท้ที่ไม่ดูดาย ได้ยื่นมือช่วยกันแนะนำและติเตียนจนทำให้เกิดการเข้าใจถูกและแก้ไขได้
